Wishing you much success in meeting many new customers!
thank you, NG!
Its really nice to meet people face to face, I only wish I could get to meet some of my wonderful international blogging friends too :-)
I will post a photo of my stall so you can see how it went
Good luck Hedge witch with your stall, a bit to far to popdown, mind you we now have a direct train link to London, aren't we getting posh.
Cheers Mark
many thanks, Mark :-)
I hope your train link doesn't mean you get hoards of Londoners trying to escape to the beautiful part of the world where you live?!
Hi Hedgewitch
Love what you're doing here - combining craft and nature so beautifully.
But how much do you knit?! You must be mega fast. Ever thought of using a knitting machine? I have a couple from the early 70s which are not motorised or anything, so you have to do a lot manually, but it means you can get a lot more done. I can do an adult-sized 8ply (DK) sweater in a day. However, they would only take your Aran weight wool if you used every second needle, which can be a bit tricky.
Great work - looking forward to seeing more in the future.
love and light
thank you, naturewitch ... its lovely to see you here :-)
my mum has a knitting machine and is a bit of a whizz on it.. I've been thinking lately about getting her to train me up on it!
thing is, I find the hand knitting so therapeutic and relaxing .. I always sit down with some of an evening, its almost meditative if you know what I mean?
like the sound of being able to make a DK sweater in a day, though! there would be no stopping me!!
warm wishes to you
yes, I do know what you mean - I usually have a hand knit on the go, along with doing some on the machine. It's a nice feeling to settle down with your needles and wool. Although I often have to defend my wool, if the cats join me - for some reason they think its only purpose is to provide amusement for them!
Happy knitting!
I wish I was close enough to come!
hiya goddess .. thanks for stopping by!
I will post some pictures of the stall and the event :-)
